Production Progress and Also Struggles

I have a mixed bag of news to share.  First some good news:  I got to film with Bella for a day this past weekend!  Now some bad news:  I really needed two full days to get all the footage I needed for a coherent story.  Worst still:  I'll not be able to do that until August!  It's my fault - I got script writing happy, was rusty, and it's been long enough since I've filmed that I forgot my time needed per page of script rule of thumb from prior years.  Still I'm working on some fun things for you, did have fun filming, and Bella and team are eager to get back to it.

Since this kind of post is nothing without pictures how about a few grabs from the footage we did get!

Mindy Marvel: Lost Souls

Mindy has taken a no nonsense but compassionate approach with the homeless souls in her city. However, a shadowy group is preying on street campers by abducting and abusing them. Can Mindy find the people she has been trying to help who are now disappearing? Can she find the people responsible? What if the culprits have more resources than she might expect and are ready for our superheroine to intervene? All these questions are answered in this exciting short story.

This video was going to be three different shorts but worked better as one longer production. At 16 tightly edited minutes it's one of my largest efforts to date. In classic Project SuperWoman style it's light hearted but full of action from car lifts, electro magnetic field emitters, high flying, bent metal,to superpower fights.

Super Bella: Security Detail

Is our hero Bella up to the task of protecting a young diplomat who is eager to meet with dangerous people to make his mark on the world? Of course she is! Will he make it easy? Probably not.

Bella has found her alter ego self assigned to a security detail, with a partner, tasked with protecting a diplomat intent on meeting with insurgents. The meeting turns into a setup and super heroic action and challenges ensue.
