Today I’m pleased to announce the release of an exciting new video staring Michaela called “Choices”! We are also introducing Maria to the Project Super Woman universe for at least a three-story arch. While “Choices” serves as a satisfying standalone video we’ll see Maria’s character start to evolve in the next release. After a long hiatus from filming it was nice to dust off my production cobwebs before winter set in for us so we could get the ball rolling again at PSW. I hope you enjoy the fruits of our labors.
A few months ago I was reminded in a conversation with some fans about why I started doing editing to begin with. Our videos take a lot of resources and are our main draw. I’ve used photo set revenue to buy a prop or a tool here and there, but it doesn’t move the needle much so I’m going to try out just giving these away as a thank-you to the community going forward. Very often photo sets come from times when we feel like we need to “warm up” being in costume, or we wrap a little early on a video, or we see something while driving we can interact with that is just too good to pass up. Please add to your cart for free “Something New Part Two” a photo set with 30 fun posed modeling images.
Regarding “Choices” I do have one question: I had the option to release the video as a 162 MB file that showed some digital artifacts on scene transitions or as the 527 MB crisp but very large file I went with. What is your vote? Larger files can create download and storage problems (half a gig for 7 minutes seems large but I can’t seem to hit a better quality/size balance) but I hate to go back to the semi pixelated days of “A Super Workout” as much as it made FX editing easier. :^)
