There was a significant building fire in a city nearby. I was able to grab my drone and safely get some footage and photos of the damage before they figured out how to do the demolition. I wanted to share a quick edit of the results. Michaela seemed like just the right person to have step into the action. I know, I know, "get back to editing the next video for PSW RFX." I'll do that too ~ but the key here is having fun and trying ideas! Looking for more of Michaela? We have options spanning the history of PSW!

I tried to shoot an intro to Dark Mersadees the first time we did a photo shoot in the outfit. It didn't work out. The footage was either unsteady or out of focus. I learned from my mistakes (I hope). Still, when you have unused footage sitting around it drives you crazy - so I figured I'd share some of the salvaged footage. Back to edting... To everyone who celebrates: Happy Halloween! This is always a fun time of year for superhero fans and fans of cosplay. I get to use video and photo production as a creative outlet all year long but Halloween presents a special time when more people show off their creativity on the streets, at parties, and on social media. PSW and Daubster Comic Colaboration: Toxic Duo While Halloween brings photos of people in superhero costumes I'm always happy to take it to the next level and show some action and tell a story too. This release of Toxic Duo with Mersadees and Emma comes just in time. I took the photos of Mersadees, Daubster took the pictures of Emma. Dauster created the photo comic and I put together a modeling set. I hope you enjoy it! Where have you been? I'm very sorry for the lack of news updates. 2022 might be the first year since our launch I don't get a chance to shoot new content for Project Super Woman. It's very disappointing but my schedule priorities have not allowed it.
I do have one video filmed I'm trying to find time to edit during the winter months. It's a slow burn story that continues where Lost Souls left off. It features Bella, Mersadees, and Michaela! There is a lot of work and a small re-shoot to do to finish it so I'm sorry to say it's not going to be released soon but we're not done yet! Thank-you to everyone for your support of Under My Muscle earlier this year! Doing more demanding videos like it and Lost Souls is possible because of your support. I'm thrilled to announce "Super Michaela: Under My Muscle" will be released Monday May 9th 2022! More very soon! Daubster has released a new photo set to us! In this one we take a break from Daubster's traditional photo comics to share this "cheeky" photoset.
I'm excited to see Stephanie and Daubster working front of a quality paper backdrop with some flattering lighting. Thank-you Daubster! I hope the fans enjoy this one! I've finished special effects editing on my next release and I'll start working on audio and titles. No ETA yet but days/weeks not months.
Daubster also has something he's working on to release! Just when you think PSW content might be far off Daubster comes to the rescue! Daubster has released an epic 45 page photo comic with 200 bonus pictures! Wow! I think the photo editing in this is Daubster's best and the story is one of the more intricate ones. We're all stepping up our game - It's great to see. As for me - as hoped I'm editing again. I've carved out some time and I hope to keep the pace ~ even if it's slow ~ going. This can't be good... ...can it? PS - if you ever get into video editing make sure when you change computers your graphics card is supported by *every* tool you use. The T500 I have is fine enough for the price I suppose - but not compatible with one of the plugins I like using! Arg!
What a year so far! Sorry for my blog absence. I’ve been keeping up with any download issues and, while delayed, e-mailed questions, but just about everything else was put on hold for the last three months. I have two to three more weeks and I expect to be back to a higher tempo of editing! Covid moved through my family one person at a time. We are all okay but it was a long process. Real live responsibilities, holidays, and some volunteer time has also been unbelievably demanding. It has not left much free time beyond me keeping my fitness goals.
Still, there is good news. I have a draft edit of a story done. I will look to do the special effects next. I have another story shot I’ve not even touched yet! I wish I was farther along because normally in March I’m out of things to edit and trying to plan for filming in warmer weather. Still, I’m glad to have time just to post this update. I’ll keep it short so maybe I can open up Premier and After Effects tonight. More soon I hope. This fall I was able to shoot two video stories with Michaela. They took up the majority of our time but after the third and last day (also a long day) we were able to squeeze in a couple pictures. I think you'll agree Michaela is in her best form ever. I had a lot of fun taking these pictures with her. I've collected them in a photo set release. Super Michaela Ripped Supporter Package
I have the supporter level package available that includes more photos and a test video of Michaela doing a bunch of flying. [Update] I now have the standard package available now too. Either way your support means a great deal to us. Have a fun and safe Halloween! As you know in between videos I like to experiment and I've been wanting to improve green screen skills so I figured I'd share this. Lighting is so important. Bonus points for the person who notices what's different/new (at least for PSW) about this video.
I know there are some aviation fans on PSW and UAS/Drones are a touchy topic so: I flew under Part 107 rules, stayed under 400 feet AGL at all times, in visual line of site with my system, no civilian airplane (even IFR) should/could have come out of the clouds above, and I had a 5 mile visible position strobe going. I've been waiting a year to get a shot like this! |
