While I'm working on a video edit and getting ready to do some filming by early June Daubster is bringing us great superhero content and updates. If you've not seen Daubster's Cold War it is a fantastic example of acting, modeling, and editing. A few fans also reached out hoping for extra images from that photo story shoot. Daubster got permission from Emma and has packed 66 still images for those super fans.

I was lucky enough to be driving through Michaela's neck of the woods (many hundreds of miles from where I live) and we were able to take photos for 65 minutes! I packed five costumes. She had boots (thank goodness because they take up a lot of space). We got to shoot in three of the five.
While I'm on the road I can't do much with these images - but I managed to get one off my camera (even without the right cable on me and no SD card reader) and wanted to share. I think she looks more super than ever. Yes, we plan to find more time this summer to do some filming. Hi Everyone! Just a quick note that Daubster is on a roll and has released another photo comic for us!
Thanks to Daubster for continuing to share his creations. I hope you all enjoy it! It's so nice to have a completed video to release! I wrote a simple heroine power story around Mersadees’s skill as a fire dancer and fire stunt performer for this video. Suspend disbelief with me and enjoy a beautiful show of skill and confidence and I think you will love this short story video. The "supporter level" package includes a 4 minute 40 second bonus video of clips not used in the main video slowed from the 60 or 240 frames per second it was shot in to 30 fps. Note: If you buy the video right after you pay only one link shows up. It is for the subtitle file (.srt). Please check your e-mail for all four the download links to appear. There is so much to talk about when it comes to this video! Keep an eye on the blog for those stories. Watch this space! I expect to release a video Friday!
I had not heard from a regular guest creator Daubster in some time but he reached out this week and even had a photo comic he wanted to share! I'm thrilled to share with you his latest and I think best photo comic effort to date: Bat vs Super Part 2. I know it says Part 2 but I think this story stands on its own just even without Part 1. It features Emma, Marry, and Shelly in a great story that has something for everyone. I hope you'll support Daubster and encourage him to continue to produce new material! Bat Vs Super Part 2Beloved regular guest creator Daubster brings us part 2 of his fantastic photo comics with a 43 page photo comic featuring Mary, Shelly, and Emma! Wow! A mentor gains powers and takes to the skies, a deadly double trap is sprung by a sinister villain, and dark hero comes to help! In addition to 43 action packed graphic novel style panels Daubster gives us 20 extra behind the scenes full size photos manipulations or great wallpaper material.
Daubster went all out on this story and put a lot of effort into working with three models and then doing these images, it has something for every fan, and it does standalone if you do not have part one. I am so glad to have his work, and this work in particular shines, on this webpage. It has been too long, right?! Let's get you up to speed on what I've been able to do with ProjectSuperWoman content! Mersadees This summer and early fall (northern hemisphere) I did a second part of a video shoot with Mersadees. We were not able to finish what I had hoped in one day but were able to find a second time to film so the story would not be short changed before it got cold! I struggled early on to get the draft edit done because there was a lot of footage to figure out how to stitch together into a coherent story and it wasn't working out. The third effort worked well! Then after loosing momentum I set a goal to just do one SFX scene each night. I just finished the special effects and work on tightening up the edit. I'll be working on sound, bonus footage, and titles next. As a result, it will not be another 4-6 months before this gets released! I'm looking forward to releasing this one ~ it certainly has some "firsts" in the genre and the bonus footage is a lot of fun. Bella In early fall I was also was able to do a video shoot with Bella and a few friends that was an almost full day of filming. The shoot was not as big as "Lost Souls" which was a two day shoot but I really like how it came together. I'll work on the SFX for the Bella video after I get the Mersadees video released. Other news When will I film again? I hope to do some stuff this spring. There are plenty of story ideas. I have no specifics yet with so much in motion. I know Bella, Michaela, and Mersadees are willing ~ and Ashley is a long shot possibility too. I'm the bottle neck. Right now my focus is working through the footage I have!
I've been learning some new tricks too. Shooting in the dark with an "older" video camera meant there was some digital noise but thanks to your support I was able to license and learn some software that does a nice job cleaning it up. I've also been learning more about how to balance out sound correctly and more cinematic style editing. I've also been looking at a new camera and editing system to bump up PSW's video quality. I'm still thinking about that cost/benefit. More models and casts, smaller casts but longer stories, or higher quality visuals of the cast is always a balance I'm trying to find. I'd love to hear your thoughts bellow! Everyone on team PSW I'm aware of has stayed physically healthy and has avoided getting sick (or at least having any symptoms). I've also been fortunate but busy so far ~ time management is always a work in progress. Thank-you as always for your support. Many have been asking for it so I have good news: I got to do some video filming with Mersadees this last week! Just a quick promo video to introduce Mersadees! Introducing Mercadees Adell in an action packed thirteen page 30 image live action Graphic Novel “Super Mercadess: Crisis In The Hills!” I've done two photo shoots with Mercadees already and have one more planned so you'll be seeing more of her in the near future. She's really enjoyed the shoots and has been great to work with. She's got some special skills I'm *really* looking forward to utilizing in a story I'm planning too. She's eager to do it so I'm thrilled. More soon I hope you enjoy this release!
